Urbano Canuto Soares (* 19. Januar 1894 in Funchal; † 30. Januar 1965 in Lissabon) war portuguese philologist. Er wurde 71 Jahre alt. Er studierte an der School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon. Er arbeitete unter anderem bei Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto und Universidade de São Paulo.
