Biography of Andrei Nikolajewitsch Alexejew

Andrei Nikolajewitsch Alexejew (* 11. December 1930 in Saint Petersburg; † 9. September 2015 in Saint Petersburg) was a soviet parasitologist. He was 84 years old. His education included Saint Petersburg State University, S. M. Kirov Military Medical Academy and MSU Faculty of History. He worked at Research Institute of Disinfectology Rospotrebnadzor, I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, Институт усовершенствования врачей МО РФ, I. M. Sechenov Institute of Evolutionary Physiology and Biochemistry and Zoological Institute RAS. His awards include Jubilee Medal "40 Years of the Armed Forces of the USSR", Medal "For Impeccable Service", 3rd class and Badge "Excellence in Healthcare of the USSR". He was buried at Bogoslovskoe cemetery.
