Hikojirō Matsumoto (* 1. January 1880 in Kamikita district; † 1. January 1958) was a japanese historian and haiku poet. He was 78 years old. His education included First Higher School and University of Tokyo. He worked at Tokyo University of Literature and Science. He was awarded the Order of the Sacred Treasure.
