Biography of Juri Andrejewitsch Ossipjan

Juri Andrejewitsch Ossipjan (* 15. February 1931 in Moscow; † 10. September 2008 in Moscow) was a russischer Festkörperphysiker und Hochschullehrer. He was 77 years old. His education included National University of Science and Technology and MSU Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics. He worked at Bardin Central Research Institute for Ferrous Metallurgy, Lomonosov Institut, Institute of Solid State Physics, Lomonosov Moscow State University, MSU Faculty of Physics and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. He received 7 awards, including Order of Lenin, Hero of Socialist Labour. He was buried at Makarovo.
