León Pérez de Salmeán y Mendayo (* 20. February 1810 in Madrid; † 2. September 1893 in Oviedo) was a spanish scientist and chemist. He was 83 years old. He studied at Colegio Imperial de Madrid. He was awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic.
