Biography of Luciana Stegagno Picchio

Luciana Stegagno Picchio (* 26. April 1920 in Alessandria; † 28. August 2008 in Rome) was an italienische Romanistin, Lusitanistin, Brasilianistin, Übersetzerin und Literaturwissenschaftlerin. She was 88 years old. She studied at University of Turin. She worked at University of Pisa and Sapienza University of Rome. Her awards include Order of Cultural Merit (Brazil), Grand Officer of the Military Order of Saint James of the Sword and Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
