Wladimir Alexandrowitsch Iljin (* 2. May 1928 in Kozelsk; † 26. June 2014 in Moscow) was a russian mathematician. He was 86 years old. His education included Lomonosov Moscow State University and MSU Faculty of Physics. He worked at Lomonosov Moscow State University and Steklov Institute of Mathematics. He received 9 awards, including USSR State Prize, Order of Honour. He was buried at Troyekurovskoye cemetery.
