Biography
Abdul Sattar Edhi (* February 28, 1928 in Bantva; † July 8, 2016 in Karachi) was a pakistani philanthropist, social activist, ascetic and humanitarian. He was 88 years old. He was married to Bilquis Edhi. He had 4 children. His faith was Islam. He received 6 awards, including UNESCO-Madanjeet Singh Prize, Balzan Prize. His cause of death was kidney failure.
