Biography
Abdurrahman Wahid (* September 7, 1940 in Jombang; † December 30, 2009 in Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National General Hospital) was a 4th President of the Republic of Indonesia. He was 69 years old. He was married to Sinta Nuriyah. His education included Karachi Grammar School, University of Baghdad and Al-Azhar University. His faith was Sunni Islam. His awards include Ramon Magsaysay Award and honorary doctor of the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne. His cause of death was cardiovascular disease.
