Biography
Adrienne Rich (* May 16, 1929 in Baltimore; † March 27, 2012 in Santa Cruz) was an american poet, essayist and feminist. She was 82 years old. She was married to Alfred Haskell Conrad. Her education included Radcliffe College and Harvard University. She received 10 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, MacArthur Fellows Program. Her cause of death was rheumatoid arthritis.
