Biography
Ahmad Shamloo (* December 12, 1925 in Tehran; † July 24, 2000 in Karaj) was an iranian Persian poet, writer, and journalist. He was 74 years old. He was married to Aida Sarkisian and Tusi Hayeri Mazandarani. His awards include Forough Faroukhzad Award and Stig Dagerman Prize. He was buried at Imamzadeh Taher Cemetery.
