Akira Toriyama (* April 5, 1955 in Kiyosu; † March 1, 2024 in Japan) was a japanese manga artist and character designer. He was 68 years old. He was married to Nachi Mikami. He had 2 children. He studied at Okoshi Technical High School. His awards include Shogakukan Manga Award and Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres. His cause of death was acute subdural hematoma.
