Biography
Alain Robbe-Grillet (* August 18, 1922 in Brest; † February 18, 2008 in Caen) was a french author and film director. He was 85 years old. He was married to Catherine Robbe-Grillet. His education included Lycée Saint-Louis and Institut national agronomique. He received 5 awards, including Louis Delluc Prize, Sade Prize. His cause of death was cardiovascular disease. He was buried at Père Lachaise Cemetery.
