Albert Ghiorso (* July 15, 1915 in Vallejo; † December 26, 2010 in Berkeley) was an american nuclear scientist. He was 95 years old. He studied at University of California, Berkeley. His awards include Howard N. Potts Medal, Fellow of the American Physical Society and Glenn T. Seaborg Award for Nuclear Chemistry.
