Alexander Shulgin (* June 17, 1925 in Berkeley; † June 2, 2014 in Berkeley) was an american medicinal chemist, biochemist, pharmacologist, psychopharmacologist, and author. He was 88 years old. He was married to Ann Shulgin. His education included Harvard University, University of California, Berkeley and University of California, San Francisco. His cause of death was liver cancer.
