Biography
Ama Ata Aidoo (* March 23, 1942 in Abeadzi Kyiakor; † May 31, 2023 in Accra) was a ghanaian author and poet. She was 81 years old. Her education included Wesley Girls' High School, University of Ghana and Stanford University. Her awards include Commonwealth Writers' Prize, Nelson Mandela Prize and The Mbari Club. Her cause of death was disease.
