Her education included University of California, Los Angeles, Actors Studio, American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Christopher Columbus High School and HB Studio. She received 9 awards, including Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play, Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play. Her cause of death was uterine cancer. She was buried at Kensico Cemetery.
