Antonio Mascarenhas Monteiro (* February 16, 1944 in Ribeira da Barca; † September 16, 2016 in Praia) was a cape Verdean politician and former president of Cape Verde. He was 72 years old. He was married to Tuna Mascarenhas. He studied at UCLouvain. He received 6 awards, including Grand Collar of the Order of Prince Henry, Grand Collar of the Order of Liberty.
