Biography
Arnaud Beltrame (* April 18, 1973 in Étampes; †March 23, 2018 in Carcassonne) was an officer in the French gendarmerie. He was 44 years old. His education included Lycée militaire de Saint-Cyr, École militaire interarmes, Académie militaire de la Gendarmerie nationale, School of Applied Artillery and ISC paris business school. His faith was Catholicism. His awards include Honour medal of Foreign Affairs and Medal for internal security. His cause of death was stab wound. He was buried at cemetery of Ferrals-les-Corbières.
