Biography
Asma Jahangir (* January 27, 1952 in Lahore; † February 11, 2018 in Lahore) was a pakistani human rights activist and lawyer. She was 66 years old. She had 3 children. Her education included University of the Punjab and Kinnaird College for Women. She received 8 awards, including Four Freedoms Award – Freedom of Worship, Martin Ennals Award for Human Rights Defenders. Her cause of death was cardiac arrest.
