August Wilson (* April 27, 1945 in Pittsburgh; † October 2, 2005 in Seattle) was an american playwright. He was 60 years old. He was married to Constanza Romero. His education included Central Catholic High School and University of Pittsburgh. He received 8 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, National Humanities Medal. His cause of death was liver cancer. He was buried at Greenwood Cemetery.
