Beatrice Straight (* August 2, 1914 in Old Westbury; † April 7, 2001 in Los Angeles) was an american actress. She was 86 years old. She was married to Peter Cookson and Louis Dolivet. Her education included Dartington Hall and Cornish College of the Arts. Her awards include Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play. Her cause of death was pneumonia. She was buried at William Henry Lee Memorial Cemetery.
