Bill Viola (* January 25, 1951 in Queens; † July 12, 2024 in Long Beach) was an american video and installation artist. He was 73 years old. He was married to Kira Perov. He had 2 children. He studied at Syracuse University. He received 7 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, MacArthur Fellows Program. His cause of death was Alzheimer's disease.
