Biography
Bronisław Geremek (* March 6, 1932 in Warsaw; † July 13, 2008 in Lubień, Greater Poland Voivodeship) was a polish social historian and politician. He was 76 years old. He was married to Hanna Geremek. His education included University of Warsaw and École pratique des hautes études. He received 7 awards, including Charlemagne Prize, Pour le Mérite for Sciences and Arts order. His cause of death was traffic collision. He was buried at Powązki Military Cemetery.
