Carl Barks (* March 27, 1901 in Merrill; † August 25, 2000 in Grants Pass) was an american cartoonist. He was 99 years old. He was married to Garé Barks. His faith was atheism. His awards include Disney Legends, Inkpot Award and Jack Kirby Hall of Fame. His cause of death was chronic lymphocytic leukemia. He was buried at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
