Biography
Chaim Potok (* February 17, 1929 in The Bronx; † July 23, 2002 in Merion Station) was an american rabbi and author. He was 73 years old. His education included University of Pennsylvania, Yeshiva University, Salanter Akiba Riverdale Academy, Marsha Stern Talmudical Academy, Jewish Theological Seminary of America and Yeshiva College (Yeshiva University). His faith was Judaism. His awards include honorary doctor of the University of Miami, Athenaeum Literary Award and Edward Lewis Wallant Award. His cause of death was brain cancer.
