Charles Haughey (* September 16, 1925 in Castlebar; † June 13, 2006 in Dublin) was a 7th Taoiseach from 1979 to 1981; 1982; 1987 to 1992. He was 80 years old. He was married to Maureen Haughey. He had 4 children. His education included University College Dublin and St. Joseph's Secondary C.B.S., Fairview. He was awarded the honorary doctorate at the Blaise-Pascal university. His cause of death was prostate cancer. He was buried at St. Fintan's Cemetery, Sutton.
