Charles M. Schulz (* November 26, 1922 in Minneapolis; † February 12, 2000 in Santa Rosa) was an american cartoonist, known for creating the comic strip, "Peanuts. He was 77 years old. He was married to Joyce Halverson and Jean Forsyth Clyde. He had 5 children. His education included Art Instruction Schools and St. Paul Central High School. He received 10 awards, including Commandeur des Arts et des Lettres‎, Inkpot Award. His cause of death was colorectal cancer. He was buried at Sebastopol.
