Chuck Yeager (* February 13, 1923 in Myra; † December 7, 2020 in Los Angeles) was an american World War II flying ace and test pilot; first pilot to fly faster than sound. He was 97 years old. He had 4 children. He studied at U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School. His awards include Presidential Medal of Freedom and National Aviation Hall of Fame. He was buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
