Coretta Scott King (* April 27, 1927 in Marion; † January 30, 2006 in Rosarito) was an american author, activist, and civil rights leader; wife of Martin Luther King, Jr.. She was 78 years old. She was married to Martin Luther King Jr.. She had at least 2 children (1 son and 1 daughter). Her education included Antioch University, Antioch College and New England Conservatory. Her faith was Baptists. She received 10 awards, including Four Freedoms Award – Freedom of Worship, Wateler Peace Prize. Her cause of death was ovarian cancer. She was buried at King Center for Nonviolent Social Change.
