Cormac McCarthy (* July 20, 1933 in Providence; † June 13, 2023 in Santa Fe) was an american novelist, playwright, and screenwriter. He was 89 years old. He had 2 children. His education included University of Tennessee and Knoxville Catholic High School. His faith was Catholic Church. He received 9 awards, including National Book Award for Fiction, Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.
