Biography
Dawda Kairaba Jawara (* May 16, 1924 in Barajally; † August 27, 2019 in Fajara) was a 1st President of the Gambia. He was 95 years old. He was married to Chilel Jawara and Augusta Jawara. His education included Achimota School, University of Glasgow and University of Liverpool. His faith was Islam. He was awarded the Grand Collar of the Order of Prince Henry.
