Biography
Dick Gregory (* October 12, 1932 in St. Louis; † August 19, 2017 in Washington, D.C.) was an american comedian, social activist, social critic, writer, and entrepreneur. He was 84 years old. He was married to Lillian Gregory. He had 11 children. His education included Southern Illinois University Carbondale and Sumner High School. His awards include Thomas Merton Award, star on Hollywood Walk of Fame and Phoenix Award. His cause of death was heart failure. He was buried at Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
