Dirk Kempthorne (* October 29, 1951 in San Diego; † April 24, 2026 in Boise) was a 49th United States Secretary of the Interior. He was 74 years old. He was married to Patricia Kempthorne. He had 2 children. His education included University of Idaho, San Bernardino Valley College and San Gorgonio High School. His faith was Methodism. His cause of death was colorectal cancer.
