Donald E. Westlake (* July 12, 1933 in Brooklyn; † December 31, 2008 in Mexico) was an american novelist. He was 75 years old. He was married to Abby Westlake. He studied at Binghamton University. His awards include Edgar Awards, Shamus Award and Gumshoe Awards. His cause of death was myocardial infarction.
