Donella Meadows (* March 13, 1941 in Elgin; † February 20, 2001 in Hanover) was an american environmental scientist, teacher, and writer. She was 59 years old. She was married to Dennis Meadows. Her education included Harvard University and Carleton College. She was awarded the MacArthur Fellows Program.
