Biography
Douglas Engelbart (* January 30, 1925 in Portland; † July 2, 2013 in Atherton) was an american engineer and inventor. He was 88 years old. He was married to Ballard Fish and Karen O'Leary Engelbart. He had 4 children. His education included University of California, Berkeley, Oregon State University, University of Oregon and Franklin High School. He received 10 awards, including Turing Award, Lemelson–MIT Prize. His cause of death was kidney failure.
