Edgar Hilsenrath (* April 2, 1926 in Leipzig; † December 30, 2018 in Wittlich) was a german-Jewish writer. He was 92 years old. He received 4 awards, including Alfred-Döblin-Preis, Lion-Feuchtwanger-Preis. His cause of death was pneumonia.
