Biography
Eduardo Chillida (* January 10, 1924 in San Sebastián; † August 19, 2002 in San Sebastián) was a spanish Basque sculptor. He was 78 years old. He was married to Pilar Belzunce de Carlos. He had 8 children. His education included Complutense University of Madrid, Technical University of Madrid, Superior Technical School of Architecture of Madrid and Círculo de Bellas Artes. He received 10 awards, including Goslarer Kaiserring, Pour le Mérite for Sciences and Arts order. His cause of death was Alzheimer's disease.
