Edward Egan (* April 2, 1932 in Oak Park; † March 5, 2015 in Manhattan) was an american Catholic cardinal. He was 82 years old. His education included Pontifical Gregorian University, University of Saint Mary of the Lake and Archbishop Quigley Preparatory Seminary. His faith was Catholic Church. He was awarded the honorary doctor of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University. His cause of death was cardiac arrest. He was buried at St. Patrick's Cathedral.
