Biography
Edward Said (* November 1, 1935 in Jerusalem; † September 25, 2003 in New York City) was a palestinian-American professor. He was 67 years old. He was married to Mariam C. Said and Maire Jaanus. His education included Harvard University, Princeton University, Northfield Mount Hermon School, Victoria College and St. George's School, Palestine. He received 7 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Princess of Asturias Award for Concord. His cause of death was leukemia.
