Eiko Ishioka (* July 12, 1938 in Tokyo; † January 21, 2012 in Tokyo) was a japanese art director and designer. She was 73 years old. Her education included Tokyo University of the Arts, Ochanomizu Women's University High School and Ochanomizu University Junior High School. She received 5 awards, including Academy Award for Best Costume Design, Medal with Purple Ribbon. Her cause of death was pancreatic cancer.
