Biography of Elaine Stritch

Elaine Stritch (* 2. February 1925 in Detroit; † 17. July 2014 in Birmingham) was an american actress and singer in film, television, and the theatre. She was 89 years old. She was married to John Bay. Her education included The New School, Stella Adler Studio of Acting and HB Studio. She received 5 awards, including Primetime Emmy Award, Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. Her cause of death was diabetes. She was buried at Memorial Park Cemetery.
