Ellen Niit (* July 13, 1928 in Tallinn; † May 30, 2016 in Tallinn) was an estonian writer and translator. She was 87 years old. She was married to Heldur Niit and Jaan Kross. She had at least 1 child (1 son). She studied at University of Tartu. She received 4 awards, including Order of the White Star, 3rd Class, Coat of Arms of Tallinn. She was buried at Rahumäe Cemetery.
