Biography
Ellis Marsalis Jr. (* November 14, 1934 in New Orleans; † April 1, 2020 in New Orleans) was an american jazz pianist and educator. He was 85 years old. He had 6 children. His education included Dillard University, Loyola University New Orleans and Gilbert Academy. He was awarded the NEA Jazz Masters. His cause of death was COVID-19.
