Elvin Jones (* September 9, 1927 in Pontiac; † May 18, 2004 in Englewood) was an american jazz drummer. He was 76 years old. He was married to Keiko Jones. He was awarded the NEA Jazz Masters. His cause of death was myocardial infarction.
