Biography
Ephraim Kishon (* August 23, 1924 in Budapest; † January 29, 2005 in Appenzell) was an israeli author, dramatist, screenwriter and film director. He was 80 years old. He was married to Sara Kishon and Lisa Kishon. He had 3 children. He received 10 awards, including Israel Prize, Officer's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at Trumpeldor cemetery.
