Biography
Eudora Welty (* April 13, 1909 in Jackson; † July 23, 2001 in Jackson) was an american short story writer, novelist and photographer. She was 92 years old. Her education included Peterhouse, University of Wisconsin–Madison, Columbia Business School, Mississippi University for Women, Columbia University and Central High School. She received 10 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, O. Henry Award. Her cause of death was pneumonia. She was buried at Greenwood Cemetery.
