Eugene McCarthy (* March 29, 1916 in Watkins; † December 10, 2005 in Georgetown Retirement Home) was an american politician. He was 89 years old. He was married to Abigail McCarthy. His education included St. John's University, University of Minnesota, St. Anthony Catholic School, St. John's Preparatory School, Saint John's Preparatory School and College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University. His cause of death was Parkinson's disease. He was buried at Saint Paul's Episcopal Churchyard.
