Eugene Polley (* November 29, 1915 in Chicago; † May 20, 2012 in Downers Grove) was an engineer, inventor of remote control, 1915-2012. He was 96 years old. His education included City Colleges of Chicago and Armour Institute. His awards include Emmy Award and IEEE Masaru Ibuka Consumer Electronics Award. He was buried at Wheaton.
